Fashion waste bag
Uppgiften var att ta fram säsongsspecifika påsar till Acne. Dessa påsar är skapade av rester. Alla spillbitar från klädproduktionen sys samman till ett nytt tyg, detta används sedan för att sy påsarna. Det gör att varje påse får ett unikt mönster samtidigt som det också speglar kollektionen som helhet. Ett slags mood board över den rådande stilen. Jag visar här ett exempel på en påse ur Acnes vår/sommar-kollektion 2008. Till jul skulle påsen hämtat sitt uttryck ur det årets höst/vinterkollektion och så fortsätter det. Med tiden blir påsarna också tidsdokument.

Fashion waste bag
The brief was to develop season-specific bags for Acne. These bags are created from waste. All wasted pieces from the clothing production is sewn together to form new fabric, this is then used to sew the bags. This gives each bag a unique pattern, while at the same time reflecting the collection as a whole. A kind of mood board of the current style. I show here an example of a bag from Acnes S/S collection 2008. For Christmas the bag would gatherer its look from that year's A/W collection and so on. Over time the bags also become documents of their time.
